The cleanser is designed to gently clean smooth leathers to remove dirt and soil without removing the wax buildup (which makes it easier to bring back the mirror shine) or "destroy" the patina created with leather dye.

This product prepares the pores of the leather for the absorption of the nourishing ingredients of other Saphir products such as creams. It also contain a special montan wax which makes it very easy to bring your shoes to a high shine after cleaning them.
